Hi, I’m Jaden Stafford—creative writer at my core, wielding my sword in the world of communications.

Currently, I serve as the Communications Manager at Tulane University’s Office of Human Resources. This role gives me plenty of opportunities to flex my creative yet strategic muscles: I lead high-impact newsletters, manage mass communications across multiple platforms, support professional development initiatives, and craft speeches, scripts, and messaging for senior leadership to ensure clarity and alignment with Tulane’s goals.

Before stepping into higher education, I spent over seven years in public education teaching English and creative writing. Inspired by the greats—Mr. Feeny and Ms. Frizzle, of course—I honed my skills in content creation, curriculum design, and audience engagement. I also led fundraising campaigns to take students on international tours to Greece, Italy, Budapest, and Spain. Traveling, in my opinion, is the best form of education, and I loved giving students the adventure of a lifetime.

Along the way, I freelanced in content writing and editing, helping organizations develop brand messaging, employee bios, and compelling web content. I’m passionate about creating materials that inform and inspire.

In my spare time, I focus on three things: reading everything, writing creatively (I just finished my first book!), and continuing to learn. I earned a master’s degree in psychology education and completed a graduate certificate in Learning Experience Design. I’m always learning—taking courses, sharpening my craft, and looking for new ways to grow—because curiosity is what keeps both my work and my creativity moving forward.
